Unless otherwise noted, all of my photos are protected by full copyright. This means my work may not be used, copied, modified, or shared without my explicit permission, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

Some photos on this website are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. This is clearly indicated with each photo, usually in the following form:

"This work by Sander Muller is licensed under a CC BY-SA 4.0 license."

These photos may be shared and adapted — including for commercial use — as long as you comply with the license terms, which include:

• giving proper attribution;
• including a link to the license;
• indicating if changes were made;
• and distributing your contributions under the same license (ShareAlike).

How to Attribute My Work Properly

When using a photo under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, you must give appropriate credit. A proper attribution includes:

• My name as the creator;
• The title of the photo;
• A link to the original photo (you may incorporate this into the title);
• A link to the license;
• A note if you modified the image.

You may format the attribution like this:

Photo by Sander Muller, "European Honey Bee" - CC BY-SA 4.0

If you modified the image, indicate it clearly, for example:

Photo by Sander Muller, "European Honey Bee", cropped and color-adjusted - CC BY-SA 4.0
